Powell is one of the longest running skateboard companies on earth. Started by George Powell, it grew exponentially in the 1980s while it was re-branded as “Powell Peralta” by joining forces with legendary skater Stacey Peralta. Eventually the partnership ended and went back to Powell Skateboards.
George came from an aerospace engineering background and knew how to make really good boards. You can’t go wrong with Powell decks.
