This is the latest video from Baker. It’s usually the videos that make them famous. And each time they step it up a little more. However, I really recommend you get Baker Bootleg. It’s the first video. When they made Baker Bootleg, Baker Skateboards didn’t even exist yet. It was just a video. I think Andrew Reynolds and Jay Strickland made the video because they wanted to do something a little less serious than your average skate video – or rather make a video with their own style and flavor. Anyway, the video was kind of an underground hit and sure enough two skateboard companies formed out of it: Baker Skateboards and Bootleg Skateboards. Andrew Reynolds directed Baker, while Jay Strickland led Bootleg. Eventually Bootleg folded (probably because it didn’t follow the skateboarding success formula -> skateboard companies do best when they are started by legendary pros). Regardless Bootleg was an awesome company while it lasted. You should check out Bootleg 3000 if you get the chance.
