Jamie Thomas. I don’t know what company Jamie Thomas started skating for, but I first remember Jamie Thomas on Toy Machine. Those were the days.
The team was crazy: Ed Templeton, Jamie Thomas, Chad Muska, Bam Margera, Elissa Steamer, Donnie Barley,MIKE MALDONADO, and SATVA LEUNG. From what I can recall it was Pat Duffy and Jamie Thomas who were the first to really go big on rails.
Jamie Thomas – Mislead Youth
I don’t know how many times I saw this video as a kid but it really never gets old.
Jamie Thomas left Toy Machine to start Zero Skateboards. I think it was first suppose to be a clothing company called zero division. Whatever happened, Jamie Thomas turned it into a flow blown board company. I remember watching the first Zero video. I was sweating. Every video I had seen before, I would tell myself I could do that. Once I watched Zero videos, I would tell myself I can’t do that. Jamie Thomas and his videos were mind blowing. One thing that Jamie Thomas brought to the world of skateboard video editing, was the ADD style of editing. ADD style is when you make a video that are a bunch of short clips of hammers, very few runs. Jamie Thomas stills owns Zero Skateboards and is still skating to this day. We believe that Jamie Thomas also owns Mystery Skateboards and Fallen Footwear. If he is not the owner then he is heavily involved in their production.
